Financial Support

Students coming in with a completed MA receive 5 year funding packages; students coming in without a completed MA receive 6 year funding packages.

All funding packages include one non-teaching dissertation year fellowship.

Current stipends are approximately $16,000 for the academic year, which includes health insurance, in addition to tuition remission.

In Bloomington, the average rent for a 2-bedroom apartment is approximately $1100 per month.
